KIPPRA Hosts the KIPPRA Mentorship Programme for Universities and TVETS at National Youth Service

KIPPRA hosted the KIPPRA Mentorship Programme for Universities and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVETS) on the 16th – 17th May 2024 at National Youth Service (NYS) Engineering school in Nairobi. The theme for the event was Kenya’s Transformation Agenda Since Independence and Future Projections.

The two- day event was graced by the KIPPRA Board Vice Chair Ms Christine Wanjala, KIPPRA’s Executive Director Dr Rose Ngugi and NYS Deputy Director General, Mr Jamlick Chabari and aimed to build the capacity of university and TVETs communities in understanding the public policy making process. Also present were representatives from the National Youth Council, State Department for Economic Planning, the National Crime Research Centre and the Directorate of National Cohesion and Values. The event brought together over 400 students and representatives from government and private institutions.
